Behind the design The earthy textures and speckled midsole represent the Two Bays Trail's tough terrain. The red arrows on the tongue tops and upper are inspired by the iconic arrow signs with handwritten numbers used throughout the trail. Two Bays is identified by a circular symbol displaying a blue superb fairywren, which can be seen both on the signage along the route and on the sockliners. Deep and bright blues symbolise the start and finish of the 28K bay-to-bay stretch, where the ocean meets the sky.
